hawaiian retreat It was important to the clients that the architect would design and provide areas of both hardscape and landscape for their home. Offering areas that could act as an extension of the interior, yet offer plenty of greenscape helps to soften the overall modern design. Patio areas were built with the use of stone pavers, gravel, and planting strips.
